Course description
Physics teaching methods deals with the transformation of teacher trainees into professional teachers. Two sections are dealt with: Planning, Assessment and evaluation. Under planning, emphasis will be put on; Physics scheme of work, Physics lesson plan, Physics teaching methodology and Theories of learning and teaching. Under Assessment and evaluation, Planning and executing physics experiments, Preparation of test items, Preparation of teaching aids, Preparation of tables of specification for item construction, Prepare rubrics of students performance and Analyse results of test scores will be discussed.
